Cleveland coming out of nowhere according to Chris Broussard and stating that according to sources the Cavaliers have emerged as the leader (over Miami) to land Lebron James. James has not acted in concert with D. Wade or Chris Bosh and has stated that he will only accept the max leaving the onus of taking a pay cut to Wade and Bosh if they want him to resign with Miami. He also has wanted an improved supporting cast which so far Pat Riley has failed to bring in. Cleveland has a very young and very very talented cast. 3 former #1 overall draft picks in PG Kyrie Irving, an All Star now for 2 years running and G/F Andrew Wiggins who was just made the #1 overall pick this year. Plus another top 5 pick in SG Dion Waiters, a talented scorer talented young former lottery picks in big men Tristan Thompson and Tyler Zeller and another #1 overall draft pick in promising PF Anthony Bennett. This is team is young and loaded and can take the athletic burden off of Lebron in a way that he has never had even in Miami. The intangibles here are severely in doubt with the horrific years Cleveland has had in the past several years with the complete lack of leadership their locker room has exhibited. Its also questionable of rookie coach Dave Blatt, who was coaching in Europe this past year, will be able to handle all those egos. But the potential of the young players in Cleveland is scary and adding Lebron to the mix could prove to make Cleveland an overwhelming force especially in a very very weak Eastern conference...
