Clic and Like our page :) A meeting of the senses, Atma allows us to travel throughout the elegant and ethereal universe. The alliance of the violin and space drum, supported by the beatbox and their electronic ambience provokes an eclectic and unique blend, a subtle conversation in the art of improvisation and inspiration. Formed in 2013, Atma is the creation of Theo Poizat (a percussionist with mixed influences, including African, Middle Eastern and Indian music), and Julien Moretto (a violinist specializing in classical Hindustani, Carnatic and improvised music), creating an astonishing and fluid fusion with a conscious approach to sound and its silence. Based on original compositions and influenced by music from around the globe, Atma is a tableau of warm colours resonating in time and space, in the unknown universe with eyes closed, looking into our inner selves.
