The Institute is charged with carrying out, controlling coordinating, registering, monitoring and promoting Health Research in Tanzania. NIMR through the funding from Walter Reed Army Institute of Research is seeking to recruit competent staff for the following positions in its Project titled Malaria Transmission in Tanzania to be conducted at Mgambo National Service Camp in Tanga Region. Clinical Officer - 1 Post Accountability The clinical officer will be accountable to the Project Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities * Recruitment, follow-up and provision of clinical care to study participants on a daily basis * Collect information and samples from study participants. * Keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality of study data. * To perform any other related duties assigned to him/her Qualification and Experience * Holder of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine with at least 2 years of clinical experience. * Previous involvement in malaria research and holding a GCP certificate will be an added advantage. * Good spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
