// Closed roleplay with Alexander Dolleris Billing The sun was preparing to disappear to allow the moon to rise to start its duty of looking over the land. The lowering sun casting a warm orange hue to blanket across the horizon. The night time creatures began to stir from their sleep and emerge from their homes. Soon the wilderness was filled with an array of new sounds of animals and insects singing, replacing the day time noises. A cool wind passed across the jungle, caressing lightly across the leaves hanging from the trees. The mistresses’ chilly fingers brushing through Chi’s dark thick hair, causing loose strands to swirl and dance like forbidden lovers sworn never to touch. The female hugged against the thick trunk of the tree as she shuffled her foot from branch to branch, in order to keep her balance. You would have thought all these years spend in solitude of the forest would have made her a good climber. But you’d think wrong. There was some parts of this forest she had not ventured in before. She usually patrolled the outsides of this large environment, to keep others from coming in, she hardly had the chance to explore what wonders laid within the dense forest. In these parts, the trees where taller, thicker. The floor was uneven with shrubbery and vegetation. Greenery climbed up against the bark of the trees, as if the floor wanted to reach up and connect to the sky somehow. Or perhaps the greenery was greedy, jealous even. It wanted to engulf all the colours of the forest, so only the foliage remained. Chi’s fluffy ear twitched. It picked up on a perturbing sound. The sound of other’s in this land. Her ears turned, pointing behind her, then to the front, to the sides. Turning and pointing in different directions of one another. Until they pointed together, pin pointing the location of the noise. She jumped through the trees, light on her feet, letting small grunting noises pass through her lips every now and then as she landed on the branches. She leaped forward, extending her arms to grasp the sturdy platform. She used all her strength the pull herself up, her arms shifted along the platform and bent in order to push herself up. She swung her foot around, it repeatedly scraping against the bark, when she thought she was steady enough to progress, her foot lost balance and it fell. Her heart almost skipped out of her chest and she let out a loud gasp. In that split second she almost fell. She stayed hanging off the branch for a moment, composing herself, calming her body before progressing. She reached the source of the noises. She squatted on an impenetrable raised area, her hand resting against the trunk of the tree. Her six white tails swaying slowly as her eyes glared down at the ground. A large river split across the ground, causing a bright contract of blue against the dark dense green of the shrubbery. The water was rushing rapidly, cascading and meandering across various sized rocks formed across the river bed. Her good sense of hearing had picked up the sound of the trickling water, even someone with hard hearing may have heard it from a distance. It’s siren song luring parched travellers out into the open to taste upon its refreshing taste. Chi spotted two travellers in the water. All of a sudden one of the travellers fell to the ground with a loud thud. The man struggled as she pressed her hand against his throat, restricting his windpipe. Though the man was strong, and it was difficult to keep him down, she used all her body weight to keep the male on the ground. Her hand hovered over his face, which was full of fear and pain. Chi drunk up this expression, examining his pointed features. His widened eyes, clenched jaw, beads of sweat rolling down his cheek as he knew he was close to death. His eyes and mouth started to glow a blueish hue, as a misty orb formed in the female’s hand, the orb getting bigger as her hand moved further away from his face, almost as if she was dragging the life force out of him. His eyes turned blank, as the victim’s head flopped to the side. He was now lifeless. Chi’s usual golden honey eyes turned red as she turned to the other traveller, a large smirk spread across her cheeks. “I advice you leave. Unless you want to end up like your friend here~”
