We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Camp Coordinator to be a part of our Keeyask Project for approximately 76 months. Responsibilities: - Administer and manage camp service contracts including but not limited to catering, security, maintenance, emergency medical service, etc. - Administer and enforce the General Camp Rules to ensure the safety and well being of all camp residents. - Oversee the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment and solid waste collection facility. - Administer all site motor vehicles, including procurement, maintenance and allocation. - Ensure the camp facilities maintain regulatory compliance with the Manitoba Fire Code. - Coordinate with other groups within the Corporation, external consultants, and suppliers and contractors with activities related to the camp to ensure that all share a common understanding of requirements for assigned projects. - Assist with providing general direction and coaching to staff, including assisting the Camp Operations Lead with staff selection, performance appraisals, and disciplinary action . - Routinely manage material of highly complex and confidential nature. Qualifications: - A degree or diploma in business or related discipline and experience in heavy civil construction. - Demonstrated experience working in an atmosphere that requires strong communication (both orally and in writing) and coordination with multiple parties is required. - Demonstrated experience in developing and executing communication plans is required. - Experience working with Aboriginal groups is required . - Experience with hydro-electric projects and knowledge about construction is an asset. - Ability to plan, organize and control the activities of various concurrent work assignments . - Ability to make balanced decisions on complex issues and use mature judgement with the ability to gain confidence and respect of others. - Possess strong software skills in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint), Aconex, SharePoint. - Must be prepared to travel and work outside normal business hours and possess a valid Province of Manitoba Drivers Licence.
