Closure. We all think that we want closure on a situation so we can move on. What we really want is the ending that we had hoped for, wished for, and prayed for. Today we got some closure but its not what any if us had hoped for, wished for, or prayed for. Today, the collective heart of our Church, our Community, and our State has been ripped out of our chests and stomped in the gravel of a cruel wake up call that is the untimely death of a beautiful, smart, gentle college student and friend. Anna Marie Smith left us too soon. There are many more questions yet to be answered as well as a gaping, empty hole in our chests. GOD, help us to process this. Squeeze your children tightly tonight! Weve lost one of ours. Prayers for Dan, Laurie, Lizzie and anyone else who was blessed enough to have had Anna enter their lives.
