Clouds this morning will eventually give way to afternoon showers and storms. While the cloud cover will help to reduce the amount of available instability, therefore lowering the threat of severe weather. It will not keep away slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rainfall, a few isolated storms may reach severe levels, but for the most part are biggest concern will be heavy rainfall. Very high rainfall rates, combined with slow moving storms will be the recipe for isolated flash flooding this afternoon and evening.
