Cloudy and foggy with any showers ending and lows near 70 tonight. Both Monday and Tuesday we will contend with off and on downpours as the cool front stays over the region and remains essentially stalled. Some towns will pick up an additional 1-3" of rain while towns nearby may just see a passing shower or two. That is the nature of this type of set up. Today we saw that first hand as Metrowest communities saw 4-5.5" of rainfall. Location well north of Boston on the other hand, saw some sunshine and it was a halfway decent beach day up there actually!!!! Finally drier and cooler air arrives for us all later Tuesday night. That dry weather will stick with us through next weekend, it appears at this point. It will feel as it should by late in the week for early September here in Boston. More later.
