Joe was born in Perry County the son of the late Jesse Franks and Marie Lane Franks. Joe was a life-long resident of Perry County, a Roofer by occupation, enjoyed Hunting and Fishing, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Clyde was also preceded in death by One Brother – Carly Franks. Mr. Clyde “Joe” Franks leaves the following relatives surviving: Lifelong Companion – Blanche Stacy of Ary, KY; Two Sons – Anthony Franks and Jason Franks both of Ary, KY; Two Daughters – Jenon Franks of Ary, KY and Jodi Franks of Batavia, Ohio; Two Brothers – Oscar Franks of Lothair and Gene Willard Franks of Tennessee; Two Sisters – Judy Spencer of Christopher, KY and Betty Joseph of Lothair, KY; 13-Grandchildren, and a host of other Relatives and Friends Survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Clyde “Joe” Franks will be conducted on Saturday June 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle- Bowling Funeral Home on East Main Street with Danny Stacy officiating. The Interment will follow in the Stacy-Franks Cemetery located at Ary, KY. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday Evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
