Coach Pruett speaks to the RCB Football Team… Bob Pruett, Former Marshall University Coach, happens to be my boss and is Vice President of Sales. About every two months he rides around with me for the day. On Thursday, Nov. 13, I asked Coach if he would speak to the RCB Football Team as they prepare for a playoff game vs Keyser on Friday, he said, “Let’s go!” Bob is a great guy and has me laughing constantly. Whenever he sees a WVU fan, he picks on them like you wouldn’t believe, but it is all in good fun. He loves WVU and attends many games, he just loves Marshall a lot more! He and former WVU coach, Don Nehlen, have a radio show on Metro News radio stations that airs every Monday at 7pm, they are best friends. While visiting one of my customers Thursday (after the talk at RCB) he said to me, “Hey, I’ll be right back.” We were talking in a lobby area with several people and he made his way down a hallway and into an office. Several minutes later, I decided to go looking for him and found him in an office of someone that was not a CEO or even someone who would ever need to place an order with me. Earlier he had heard that the man he was talking to was going through a challenging time, his wife has cancer and will have a mastectomy soon. Coach was in that office for a good while and was talking to the gentleman about his PEIA and how he could file insurance for reconstruction. You see, Coach Pruett’s wife is a cancer survivor and has had a double mastectomy, he was sharing his experiences and trying to help this person who he did not even know. That’s who Coach Pruett is, if I didn’t tell you, it would not be known.
