Coal is so handsome, he takes your breath away! He needs a life saving foster or adopter to live another day. Coal looks pretty serious and official in his silvery anthracite well groomed coat and eyes to match. He truly is not. Coal is rather needy and attention seeking (not in an overwhelming way), standing on his hinds and resting his forelegs on my chest. A little kiss is a must like with so many pitties. He seems to have been well cared for although in my book, he could weight a few more pounds. Coal is gently welcoming in his kennel. He walks beautifully on the leash, not marking his territory and eliminating on the way. He meets other dogs, big and small in a nice and courteous fashion, even up close in the yard. He is welcoming of staff and other volunteers when he is with me in a pen. He poses beautifully for the photos session and sits and stays on command. Coal is indeed a very obedient and compliant dog, easy going and well mannered. He did not seem to want to share his food during his behavioral assessment at the care center and this is an issue that if it persists in his foster or adoptive home, will have to be addressed. Coal can learn in savvy hands. Please help him to safety tonight. Its his last chance. #nokillnyc rt
