Cobras from India?? Note from Navarrete Olga So I read that in India cobras are the pets. They have no poison. The families take care of the snakes and the children grow up playing with them. The cobras have been rescue by the families who have them and families feed and sleep with the them. India respects cobras and it is an important part of their culture. Although it may seem like child neglect it is not. It is just different from our own.
