Coke is running a smear campaign to try and defeat a common-sense recycling scheme in Australia. The idea behind Cash for Containers is simple: buy a beverage, return the container, and get a 10 cent refund. Its worked in South Australia for decades, where recycling rates are the highest in the country. But Coke is working around the clock to defeat the scheme -- even suing the Northern Territory when it started a Cash for Containers program. State Premiers are deciding right now whether to join forces and stand up to Coke, but they need our support. Its time we spoke up against Cokes war on recycling. Can you join with me and sign the petition to Australias Premiers, and tell them to stand up to Coke and implement a Cash For Containers recycling scheme? action.sumofus.org/a/coke-premier-recycling/?sub=taf
