Colegio San Agustin-Binan’s Mission-Vision is centered and faithful to its Christian-Augustinian identity as an educative institution. True to its religious dimension, this institution also endeavors to help and facilitate the transformation of the lives of its students. Amidst all these, the Colegio does not forget the essentiality of its reason for existence, the education of the young’s minds with their hearts and hands for service to the society. Mindful of its Patron Saint’s exemplary lived life, Saint Augustine of Hippo, Colegio San Agustin-Binan offers quality excellence in education, which has also been one of the primary strengths of this institution. Though it has existed for thirty-long years, it has continued to integrate changes, when necessary, and improve what it is already good at always with great consideration to the institution’s Mission-Vision. To better facilitate CSA’s Mission-Vision, various activities are prepared each year under different offices, especially in the departments where educational instructions flow. Aside from those, CSA-B also integrated some changes in its basic structure. One particular example is in relation to the formation of its clientele. To augment a lot in the achievement of its holistic Christian-Augustinian formation, another office of Vice President has been created last academic year to focus on this, the Augustinian Formation and Religious Affairs (AFRA). Under this office are the following: Augustinian Formation Office, Religious Education Department, Campus Ministry Office and Community Extension Office. The newly created office coordinates with the different departments of the whole educative community of CSA-B. The very actuality of this office reminds all that it is not just the mind that we educate but as well as the heart and hands of its students. The office does not limit itself to the students. It also aims to reach out to all the personnel of the community. In addition to this, such office also involves the parents and guardians of the students for a continuous holistic education of the young at home. Though CSA-B has gone far with faithfulness to its vow to be an instrument to transform the lives of the young studying in it, still much is to be done to continue the service it brings to the society. The men and women of this institution never get tired of sustaining and upholding excellence for which it has been created for.
