Collings Guitars and Mandolins would like to express our condolences to the family of Stan Jay. A pioneer in the American vintage instrument market, as well as a purveyor of fine new instruments, we have enjoyed working with Stan and company for more than 20 years. I can safely say that there will never be another Stan Jay and the “instrumental prose” he so eloquently, abundantly and tongue-twistingly shared with us all will never be equaled. Rest in peace, Stan.
