Colossians 2:16-19 KJV/Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. [MEANING: The study of Gods Word WILL lead to the knowledge of God and WILL therefore CONFIRM OUR FAITH. There is a philosophy that consists of mere speculations that pleases many who will try and hinder your faith whether they do it knowingly or unknowingly in vain deceit. DO NOT let others criticize your diet or religious ceremonies......instead of outward observances.....we ALL SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON JESUS CHRIST ALONE! Our worship, cultures, traditions and ceremonies can HELP bring us ALL closer to God in UNITY with the Head being JESUS CHRIST! It is not important as to how we worship.......whats important is that we ALL worship JESUS CHRIST! If you are walking in the world, then you are NOT following Christ.....you CANNOT serve 2 masters....you are either of GOD or of SATAN! The PURPOSE of the Old Testament ceremonial laws, holidays, feasts, Sabbaths, new moon etc was simply TO POINT US ALL TOWARD JESUS CHRIST! The clean (Jews) & the unclean (Gentiles) are to come together as ONE! Yes, those things were of a divine power but NOT of truth and substance.......when JESUS CHRIST SACRIFICED HIS LIFE FOR OUR SINS....he did away with those things.....and JESUS became the COMPLETE SUBSTANCE of ALL that we need for SALVATION!!! We are in Him & He is in us by THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT....therefore we HAVE FAITH IN OUR HEARTS.....UNITING US to the Head --- which is JESUS CHRIST! Through JESUS death, burial & resurrection, baptism and faith in our hearts PROVE our sins are forgiven and that we have been delivered completely from the curse of the law.....STOP trampling the Blood of Christ! Yes, we should set aside a portion of our time and worship to God.....but we are NOT dependent on any sabbath, 7th day of week, or 1st day of week or Lords day etc.....those were all mere gospel blessings. Jesus made these laws, he existed before them, he is the body of SUBSTANCE/TRUTH as God the Father/Son of God/Holy Spirit, he fulfilled them being the END OF THEM having been accomplished through him and therefore JESUS is the TRUTH, BLESSINGS & PROMISES of ALL spiritual, heavenly and Gospel Doctrine. Now, as for angels.....YOU CANT GET TO GOD THROUGH ANGELS & you are NOT TO WORSHIP THE ANGELS......it is UNSCRIPTURAL TO DO SO!!!! Angels are INFERIOR TO GOD and He FORBIDS WORSHIPING OF THEM!!!!! {Exodus 20:3-4 & Rev 22:8-9 KJV}. STOP bringing praise & humility (speaking negative about yourself so others will think you are spiritual in your self-centeredness) to yourselves in your FALSE DOCTRINES & TEACHINGS!!!!! ----------- TRUE HUMILITY IS GOD-CENTERED!!!! Quit obsessing over your man-made religion trying to draw attention from others by claiming to deny the body because the flesh is evil ----- THIS REMARK COMES FROM THE FLESH ITSELF & IS MADEUP!!!! Many are NOT connected to JESUS CHRIST....WHO IS THE HEAD OF THE BODY OF BELIEVERS!!!!!!! ---- if they were joined to Him, then they COULD NOT TEACH FALSE DOCTRINE NOR LIVE IMMORALLY (that does not mean to be perfect)!!!!!! IF ONE IS TEACHING ABOUT GOD.....WITHOUT BEING CONNECTED TO JESUS CHRIST BY FAITH........then THEY ARE SPEAKING FALSELY AGAINST HIM!!!!!!!!]
