Columbus Blue Jackets: Top Prospect, Ryan Murray Murray is a talented defenseman with few holes in his game. He was arguably the most NHL ready of the 2012 draft class, but a shoulder injury kept him out of the Blue Jacket lineup last season. He has good command in the defensive zone, and can contribute offensively with both good passing skills and a hard, accurate shot. He is very poised, and has excellent leadership qualities and has all the looks of a future NHL captain. in 2012 Murray became the second youngest player to represent Canada in the IIHF World Championship, behind only Paul Kariya in 1993. Look for Murray to be up in Columbus this season, possibly paired with veteran Jack Johnson.
