Columbus Man, could u please post this for me? I would like to keep my name withheld.. I work for a known local company and have an issue with the dress code policy... We have to wear a uniform that consists of long pants and a polyester button down shirt...(which requires a shirt under it to be comfortable in it). Let me just add that I am fairly new to the company and I love my job, but need to figure how to get them to even budge a little on the dress code.. In the department I am in there is no machinery (or air conditioning). It gets very hot in there and I am just thinking how miserable it is going to be this summer..All I have asked them is if we could at least lose the button down and wear a company t-shirt but they refuse..Im not the first person to ask for this change. What can I do? Quitting my job is NOT an option!! Thanks for posting..
