Columbus Price Neal Columbus Price Neal November 12, 1931 - December 21, 2013 Columbus Price Neal, 82, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Rogers. He was born on November 12, 1931 at Embry, Mississippi to his parents Columbus Franklin Neal and Eula Linton Pittman Neal. He became a Deacon in 1960 and was ordained at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro, AR. He was ordained to preach on February 25, 1975 at Union Avenue Baptist Church in Wynne, AR. He preached until April 2012 and retired at the age of 80. He pastored seven churches in Arkansas – Antioch Baptist Church of Wynne, First Baptist Churches in St. Joe, Scranton, Parks, Barling, Bates and Cedar Creek Community Church. He was a member of Nicut Cherokee Baptist Church. Price is survived by his wife of 59 years and 11 months Shirley Jean Woods Neal. Children born to this marriage were: daughters, Melinda Neal and her husband Noel Vincent of Cedar Creek, AR and children, Melissa Hodges and husband Nate Hodges of Wynne, AR, Bo Glenn and Trisha Glenn of Fort Meyers, FL , Ben Glenn of Arkadelphia, AR, Ben and Kelli Vincent of Mena, AR, Levi and Amber Vincent of Bismark, AR and Brittany and Tony Calvi of Royal, AR and grandchildren, Mackenzie Annabeth Vincent and Bentleigh Vincent, Haley, Mia, Levi Vincent, Emily, Owen, Kiley,Wyatt Calvi, Katie and Matti Hodges; daughter, Roselyn Neal Laird and husband James Laird of Rogers, AR and children, Laura and husband Edgar Mendez ; daughter, Amanda Catherine Kirn and husband D.J. Kirn; daughter, Addison Kate Laird; son, Anthony Laird, great-grandsons, Alexander James Mendez and Noah Jaxon Mendez; nephews, Joe Neal and wife Penny of Batesville, AR and Jimmy Lewis and wife Nicki of Humbolt, TN; nieces Gwen and Jerry Gillmore of Batesville, AR, Shelia Taylor of Jonesboro, AR and Delida Evans of Batesville, AR; sister-in-law Georgia Neal of Batesville, AR and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Cedar Creek Community Church in Waldron, AR with the Rev. Bill Harwell officiating. Burial will be at Sanders Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home-Paris. Pallbearers will be Noel Vincent, Ben Glenn, D.J. Kirn, Edgar Mendez, Jimmy Lewis and Joe Neal.
