Combo feeders: this mom needs support/advice: K writes - Can you recommend any good resources for combo feeders? I am breastfeeding now, but struggling with the loss of sleep from being the only one who can feed our baby. I feel that PPD is creeping in, and really think I need to restructure our nighttime routine. Everything on the pro-breastfeeding side acts as though combo feeding is just the first step on a slippery slope that will cause me to lose my supply and will cause my baby to not want the breast anymore. I would like to continue nursing while feeding some formula. Im wondering how other moms have done this, how they were able to manage their milk supply, and whether baby had any issues going back and forth. Ive done breastfeeding, and Ive done formula feeding, but feel lost trying to figure out how to incorporate both together.
