Come Aug 15th, people suddenly turn patriotic turning their FB/whatsap/other chat displays to Indian flag. Not that I have a problem with that!..my problem is when people pressurize me to do the same on mine!!...Anu, there is only 1 wk left, pls change ur DP to Indian flag ASAP. To all who send me this, my answer us I wont i wont and i wont!! Another post which keeps circulating, come rainy season, is the apathy of our roads, waste, smell and so on... Instead of lamenting, if you have time, my humble request is please do something (whatever you can) instead of moaning in FB! here are some sugesstions :-) To those who lament abt garbage, just get out of your house and instead of dumping your own food waste on others or your own backyard, recycle them! To those who grieve abt the potholes in the roads, try to fill at least 1 in or around your compound without turning a blind eye so that at least you or your family dont fall inside it!! To those who shed tears thru posts in FB abt smell, dirt etc, please please dont urinate/spit on the roads urself. Its so disgusting! To those who immediately blame our politicians and corrupt contractors, please dont vote without thinking!! We dont have to wait until independence day to do it!! if you are feeling patriotic you have so many options to bring abt a change in your country! Let it start from your own home/neighborhood!!
