Come See ME!!! OXACT’s “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” opens Oct. 25 The Oxford Area Community Theater (OxACT) production of “The Great American Trailer Park Musical,” directed by Rebecca Howard, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25-26 and 2 p.m. Oct. 27; and at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1-2 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 3, at the Oxford Community Arts Center. The production includes cast members Ben Mattox, Deb Richardson, Tia Seay, Sarah Baker, Sarah Pate and Tyler Gau. Music is by Laurie Traveline-Neyer. Carly McFadden and Kayleigh Retherford are the stage managers. Described as “A delicious new musical. The joint is jammed and jumping with raucous laughter. Its like The Honeymooners meets The Best Little Whorehouse in Urinetown, (Liz Smith, NY Post), the comedy depicts lives and affairs of the residents in Florida’s Armadillo Acres. The musical is a story that captures conflict, love and scandal. Tickets, $10 senior/student and $12 general, are available for purchase in person at the Oxford Community Arts Center or may be reserved by calling the OxACT box office at 523-6228. They will also be available at the door. The production is sponsored by D.S. DeWitt Construction Inc., Fey Insurance Services and McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital.
