Come Support Your Fijian Community in the Wellington City Council Voting for Pacific Advisory Group. ~Credit: New Zealand National Council of Fiji Communities shared a link There are three candidates but only two are needed. You must reside within the Wellington City Zone to be able to vote. Your name must also be in the Parliamentary Electoral Roll. Read more from Lisa Scott @WCC. There is a total of 3 Nominations for Fiji therefore we will proceed to an election process. Voting takes place at: • 6.45pm, Monday 14 April (6pm for refreshments) • Lion Harbourview Lounge, Michael Fowler Centre, Wakefield Street, Wellington. Please encourage members of your Pacific community to attend the Election Night at Lion Harbour View Lounge, Michael Fowler Centre from 6pm. Votes will only be accepted at this event and we will announce successful candidates at the end of the night. Voters must meet the following criteria: • Voters must be enrolled as parliamentary electors. (Voters will be able to register on the night) • Voters must live within the Wellington City Council area • Voters must be of the same decent as the candidates for whom they wish to vote • In the case of mixed Pacific descent, voters may only vote in the election for one of the Pacific communities of which they are part. Profile Poster On the election night there will be a profile poster including your photo and statement. If your photo or statement or both, were not submitted before the deadline, these will not be included on your profile poster.
