Come along to Jungle Jim’s Playland in Sandy at 11am on Tues 9th September for a free Sing and Sign session - normal JJs entry fees apply, but the demo is free! ‘Sing and Sign’ combines a music group with key word baby signing. Studies have shown that use of baby signing can lessen frustration in babies and toddlers, encourage early communication and stimulate learning and understanding in general. Each class lasts 45 minutes and a 10 week term costs £60. Next term starts 16th September. Find out more at singandsign. There are three age groups: - Our new Babes curriculum builds the framework for early communication using music, simple gesture and sensory play and is aimed at babies who are not yet crawling. (At selected venues!) - Our original tried and tested Stage 1 course is suitable for beginners to start anywhere between 6 and 18 months, ie pre-speech and as speech is developing. (At all venues.) - And our Stage 2 course is for parents with babies and toddlers already using signing and from about 14 or 15 months old to 2 years and beyond.
