The Yagna commences on Thursday 25th September 2014 and terminates on the night of Friday 3rd October into the morning of Saturday 4th October 2014 with the virsarjan of the Devi murtis at the pond on the temple grounds. Hours of worship - Puja- 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm and Discourse - 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm on 25/9/14 to 02/10/14. Offering to the Kanya Kumaris will be done on Thursday 2nd October, 2014. The time for worship/offerings on the 3rd will be announced subsequently. Officiating will be the Spiritual Leader of the Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Pundit Shri Gajendra Kumar. Items required to start individual Sankalp/Worship are as follows: 1 Shaved coconut (the eyes on the coconut preferably covered) 1 Calsa, Parai, Coconut Oil, Matches, Coins, Deeya and Wick Mango branch (5 leaves) White Rice; Sindoor; Saffran; Chandan; Incense; Essence; Doob Grass, Flowers, neem leaves Offerings to the 9 Kanya Kumari (little girls) –As you desire in the form of gift items. Please note that sweet rice and other offering to them, will be provided at the temple. Offerings for the night of the Friday 3rd October 2014 and the Visarjan will be announced subsequently.
