AGFC is giving away one FREE registration to our Becoming an Outdoors-Woman event. The program is an outdoors skills workshop for women. This year’s program will be held Sept. 12-14. A few of the activities in the BOW program include: firearm safety, basic fishing skills, boating safety, learning how to use a GPS, scuba diving and basic camping skills. The BOW workshop is held at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center in Ferndale. It is located about 15 miles west of Little Rock. Classes begin at noon on Friday and end at noon on Sunday. Participants will pick four classes, one on Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Lodging, meals, equipment and instruction are included.
