Come out today from 3-7pm to select Greenville area Chick-Fil-A Restaurants, partnering with Honor Flight Upstate South Carolina to highlight the service of our veterans and to raise funds for the spring 2015 Honor Flight. Participating Chick-Fil-A Restaurants are: Chick-Fil-A Simpsonville (Fairview Road) Chick-Fil-A Mauldin (Butler Road) Chick-Fil-A Taylors (Wade Hampton Blvd) The event is entitled “Meet A Vet,” and Honor Flight recipients will be on-hand to tell their stories of both time in service and from their Honor Flights. Upstate Chick-Fil-A restaurants are long-time partners with Honor Flight Upstate South Carolina, and often donate food and resources to assist with flights. A percentage of all sales during these hours will go to Honor Flight to assist veterans on April 21, 2015, at the next Upstate Honor Flight. Honor Flight Upstate South Carolina completed their thirteenth flight on October 28, 2014, and has now given flights to over 1100 WWII and Korean War veterans.
