Come out tonight to Mixx Ultra Lounge, 1203 Main St., Over-the-Rhine, from 5-7, and meet Robert Richardson, Sr. and Joe Mallory. They will be discussing their efforts to return the NAACP back to its core mission of civil rights, with an emphasis on transparency within the membership, voter empowerment, economic inclusion and criminal justice reform. It will also be an opportunity to renew or apply for membership with the Cincinnati Chapter NAACP. There is a great deal of work to do to improve the lives and the communities for people of color, and the community at large. The need for new and effective leadership could not be more prevalent than it is right now. Its time to wake up the sleeping giant and get to work. We hope to see you there!
