Come to the Learn to Lead Event at New Hope Brisbane The L2: Learn -Lead is an event to be held December 11, 2014 from 8:30am to 5:00pm at New Hope Brisbane, 46 Kelvin Grove Road, Kelvin Grove. All proceeds from the event will be going to Prison Fellowship Queensland (PFQ) to provide support to the families of inmates at Christmas time through their Angel Tree Project. This project provides much needed presents to the children of inmates who, without the assistance of PFQ, would not experience the joy of opening a gift on Christmas morning. The morning session is a broadcast with John C Maxwell (Ranked #1 Leadership and Management Expert by Inc. magazine), Linda Kaplan Thaler (Chairman of Publicis Kaplan Thaler and Bestselling Author) Tim Sanders (Internet pioneer and Best-selling Author, About). John has mastered the art of asking questions and will share why they are so important for successful leaders, what questions we should be asking ourselves and what questions we should be asking our teams. Linda will share inspiring stories and offer practical tips to harness and put your own GRIT - Guts, Resilience, Industriousness and Tenacity, to work for you. Tim will highlight the three key areas for becoming a people centric leader - confidence, leading people and customer experience. After lunch the event moves into a hands on interactive workshop and panel discussion. Australia based John Maxwell Team certified coaches Tony Curl, Wendy Burns and Christopher Sajnendra will work with the group on John’s leadership principles giving practical, effective, results focused, leadership insights. The business community is encouraged to support this initiative, and provide some valuable professional development to their staff whilst supporting the forgotten children of prison inmates this Christmas.
