==Comedian Jim Breuer Brings His New Show to the Lancaster Performing Arts Center LANCASTER – A favorite of television, film and comedy clubs, former Saturday Night Live, “Goat Boy” Jim Breuer is one of the most recognizable comedians in the business. The American “stand-up” comedian will have you rolling in the aisles when he takes to the stage at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 28 at 8 PM. A native of Valley Stream, Long Island, Breuer worked in comedy clubs around the country for several years before becoming a regular on the New York comedy club circuit, including the little-known Uptown Comedy Club weekly television show, based out of Harlem. Jim rose to comedic fame after he joined Saturday Night Live in 1995 on NBC, remaining with the show through 1998. He is best known for his original character ‘Goat Boy,’ as well as his impersonations of celebrities, Joe Pesci and Robert DeNiro, which led to one of the most memorable moments on SNL when the “real” Pesci and DeNiro confronted Breuer live on stage. Jim’s television and comedic credits took off from there. The Jim Breuer Show aired in 1998, with Breuer performing skits as different characters as well as stand-up comedy appearances by such guests as Judah Friedlander, Jeff Ross and Tracy Morgan. His first one-hour Comedy Central special Hardcore premiered on MTV (2002), the same year he released his comedy album Smoke ‘n’ Breu, and hosted several “Premium Blends” on Comedy Central among other comedy shows on television. His Sirius Satellite Radio show Breuer Unleashed began in 2004, and was later revamped in 2009 as Fridays with Breuer. During his radio career, Jim took time to host the third season of the VH1 show Web Junk 20 (2006), appeared in commercials and aired his second Comedy Central special “Let’s Clear the Air” in July of 2009. Breuer also starred in the VH1 documentary When Metallica Ruled the World where he commented on the songs by Metallica through the years, and in 2010 released his book I’m Not High (But I’ve Got a Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior). The book contains stories about his childhood, growing up, his parents and behind the scenes looks at SNL. Come laugh out loud at Jim Breuer’s zany antics on stage and hilarious story telling on Friday, March 28 at 8 PM. Seats are available at $19, $29 and $50. Tickets may be purchased online at LPAC.org, by phone at (661) 723-5950 or in person at the LPAC Box Office, 750 W. Lancaster BLVD. Box office hours are Noon to 6 PM Monday through Friday and Noon to 4 PM Saturday.
