Coming Out Day and Columbus Day are on the same weekend. I feel horrible. I just saw a post by a settler of colour who I have never met and who had just added me. This was just after I talked about white Orientalist pinkwashing at Asian Youth Dialogues and after K Hos brilliant Politics of Coming Out article (thanks Katherine Ho!). I might need to ask if indigenous folks who address and contest cis-hetero-patriarchical norms would like to share some thoughts with me. Maybe a piece of writing can come out. Ughh.. this post makes me feel so strongly.
