Coming Up at 07:30 #VersionXcursion The Originals #Sunrise Vs Scarface featuring Jay Z and Beanie Sigel #GuessWhosBizack The Originals often called Motowns best-kept secret, were a successful Motown R&B and soul group during the late 1960s and the 1970s, most notable for the hits Baby Im for Real, The Bells and the disco classic, Down to Love Town. Formed in 1966, the group originally consisted of bass singer Freddie Gorman, baritone (and the groups founder) Walter Gaines, and tenors C. P. Spencer and Hank Dixon (and briefly Joe Stubbs). Ty Hunter replaced Spencer when he left to go solo in the early 1970s. The group found modest success in the latter half of the 60s, often working as background singers for recordings by artists such as Jimmy Ruffins What Becomes of the Brokenhearted, Stevie Wonders For Once In My Life and Yester-Me, Yester-You, Yesterday, David Ruffin My Whole World Ended (The Moment You Left Me), Marvin Gayes Chained and Just to Keep You Satisfied, Edwin Starrs War and 25 Miles, and many more. Brad Terrence Jordan (born November 9, 1970), better known by his stage name Scarface. He hails from Houston, Texas and is a member of the Geto Boys. He is originally from the citys South Park neighborhood. In 2012, The Source ranked him #16 on their list of the Top 50 Lyricists of All Time, while About ranked him #10 on its list of the 50 Greatest MCs of Our Time (1987-2007). The Fix is the seventh album by American rapper Scarface. The album was highly acclaimed, receiving a rare 5-mic rating from hip-hop magazine The Source. It debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 159,000 copies sold in its first week. Guest artists on the album include Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel, Nas, Faith Evans, and WC. Producers include Mike Dean, Kanye West, Tony Pizarro, Nottz, and the Neptunes. The Fix was Scarfaces first release on Def Jam Recordings; he became the president of Def Jam South in 2001. Two singles were released from The Fix. The first was the song My Block, with a music video directed by Marc Klasfeld. The second single Someday contained a music video that was directed by former 10cc member Kevin Godley.
