Coming home from school was always the capital part of my day. - TopicsExpress

Coming home from school was always the capital part of my day. After a 40 minute bus ride reading Captain Underpants and sometimes playing Barbies (Yes, I know) with a girl two grades younger than I, I would walk down my mile long drive way talking about my day with my brothers and race to see who would get to the front door first. Sometimes I would win, sometimes I would be pushed into one of the many different trees that lined the pavement leading to our garage. We only had one computer back then. It was a white desktop. Between three boys, that was enough. MSN was our addiction. We would waste hours waiting till 8pm for our mom to get home. Most of the time I was bullied into watching TV or organizing my room while my older brother took control of the Internet. It was dial-up, so during that time the phone would never ring. I would watch endless hours of Dragon Ball Z with my twin and patiently wait till I heard the front door swing open and my moms high heels coming from down the hallway. Usually she had grocery bags filled with dinner supplies. On Tuesdays she would take us to the The Gem Theatre; It was half off. February 3rd marks the day this beautiful woman was born, and I want to take a little second to wish the happiest of birthdays to the woman who gave me the happiest of memories. I love you to the moon and back. Happy Birthday, Mom. Gina Anne Price
