Coming home from work today I checked my mail and guess what was there? My passport book and my passport card!! Finally!! :D I originally wanted both of these in order to go to Montreal in July but that just wasnt happening, not by a long shot, lol. The whole process took me 4 months to get all of my proper forms of ID, take many trips to different post offices around the area, and sending in my paperwork, not once, but twice. Oh, and dont forget the government shutdown, :O I did log some miles on my Camry and I did put my time into this project of mine. After a while it became a quest, then a challenge. Did I give up? No way, Ray!! Im a survivor!! A cool side benefit to this craziness was that on the way to getting all my paperwork together, I changed everything that I could to my present name and present gender. Yay! :D Now I finally have the freedom to legally leave the country and to legally enter other countries. Look out world! Deja is now finally entitled to roam the earth at her will! I cant promise but Ill try not to start any wars. ;) Only bad thing is, I hate my pics!! My passport book pic has wavy lines through my face and my passport card pic is black and white and that coloring, with my eyes and smile, makes me look possesed. I know, I know, wah! wah! wah!. I know that I should be grateful but I have to look at these pics for the next 10 years, :D
