Louchie Lou & Michie One (Louise Gold and Michelle Charles) were a female ragga/soul duo from London, who met in 1991 at a Rebel MC gig Their debut single was Rich Girl. They made their musical debut in the UK Singles Chart in 1993 with their number 7 hit, Shout. It was in 1993 as a single from their album Ill Be Free (1995). It was inspired by the song If I Were a Rich Man from the musical Fiddler on the Roof. In 2004, for the songs tenth anniversary, it was remade into a new song of the same name by Gwen Stefani featuring Eve on her debut solo album, Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (2004). Tupac Shakur also sampled the song for his own song Till My Dyin Day. Gwen Renée Stefani (born October 3, 1969) is an American singer-songwriter, fashion designer, and actress. She is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the rock band No Doubt. During the bands hiatus, Stefani recorded Love. Angel. Music. Baby., her first solo studio album, in 2004. Inspired by music of the 1980s, the album was a success with sales of over seven million copies.
