Coming up tomorrow afternoon, Friday Oct 31st, from 4- 6pm on CFRC 101.9fms finding a voice’: This week’s show will feature an interview with a local poet/writer just ahead of her book launch next week followed by selected readings from a local monthly open mic reading series. In the first hour, you’ll hear a recorded in-studio reading with Wanda Praamsma ahead of a Nov 6th book launch at the Novel Idea bookstore of her first book of poetry called ‘a thin line between’ (Book Thug). That will be followed by readings from the Oct 7th ‘poetry @ the artel’ open mic with readings by Debbie Okun Hill and Fran Figge. In the second hour, more readings from that monthly open-mic with readings by Lyle Merriam, Eriana Marcus, Richard Marcus, Simone Sutherland, Hannah Ellsworth and Maury Breslow.
