Commander Norm Brown of Sturgis Post 73 is always talking about Post 215 a few miles away in LaGrange, Indiana. Since I was nearby I stopped and had a great conversation with Commander Larry Schaal and several members and staff. The way I was treated one would think I was a zone commander in Indiana, and not Michigan. What a great Post and they are looking forward to working with Commander Norm in Sturgis on various projects, possibly related to ALR. Their kitchen is state of the art. We each may belong to Departments of Michigan or Indiana, but we all are members of The American Legion. If any of you are near the Sturgis area, do the 10 mile drive across the state line and visit Post 215. Youll be impressed just as i was today. FYI, their website is; alpost215LaGrange.org
