Comment on Facebook from Stephen Ndirangu Maina Manegene: This is a very wise son. I imagine the bicycle was a very treasured item by the boy and the father was a just regular drining idiot. At 17yrs i bilieve the boy had some responsibilities that he could fulfil using the bike- fetching cow feed, water, bodaboda stuff.. name them. I guess the boy was the man of the family and the mother plus siblings appreciated the fact.
