Commentary I just read a review of Foma papers online. It was buy a known photographer in the Northwest US area outside Seattle...and to paraphrase Howard Bond, an area so unique that print dry-down doesnt occur...Hmmmm? WHO could it be?...OK back to my point. This photographer claims Foma to be the best paper available today...better than Adox and similar if not better than Forte papers.(another clue) Sorry off track again. My point here is that every paper has its very own unique quality and its each photographers vision of the final print that matters. For instance, Ive used Bergger style paper specifically for the floral series I did several years ago. I wouldnt use it for other images but it fit my vision for this work. I use Adox MC 110 for most landscape type and general printing. For an ongoing series of images Im working on needing a vintage look, I use Adox warm-tone with multiple toners and diffusers. Again what I envision is what counts when it comes to paper selection. So if your shouting out that the paper you use is simply the best, your just limiting your vision and ability to grow as an artist / photographer
