Commissioner Andy Anderson seeks volunteer for Community Action Board MELBOURNE, Fla. -- The District 5 Commission Office is looking for a volunteer to fill an opening on the Community Action Board (CAB). The Community Action Board reviews and recommends programs for the Brevard County Community Action Agency through the use of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds. Additionally, the CAB provides Community Based Organization (CBO) funding recommendations to the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners. The Community Action Board meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month. A term is for one year but could be as long as three years, which is concurrent with the remainder of Commissioner Anderson’s term in office.
