#Communication Specialist A “Communication Specialist” is needed at #Alhassan #Foundation for Spinal Cord Injury The Communication Specialist is primarily responsible for the foundation’s website and all existing and uprising social media channels. S/he is responsible for executing strategies for marketing and communication in addition to different branding tools. Moreover, s/he is responsible of coordinating annual events calendar and activities. B. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Managing the website development to incorporate new features and functionality • Managing ongoing foundation’s social media accounts and leading appropriate redesigns/content updates • Identifying opportunities for online growth and execute strategies • Responsible for branding and theme development for a variety of projects and maintaining a consistent tone and brand image • Writing and designing media releases including flyers, brochures, newsletters, promotional videos, funding proposals, reports and other communications • Developing online initiatives and campaigns that translate the Foundation’s objectives/platform to the online community • Organizing marketing activities including annual events and representing the foundation in all events. • Producing monthly monitoring and progress reports • Communicating and executing with marketing agencies • Carrying out new tasks as required C. Qualifications: • Relevant University Degree • Thorough and updated knowledge about social media tools and techniques in addition to video making, Adobe package and relevant programs • Outstanding communication skills • Perfect knowledge of Arabic and English (including typing) • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure • Ability to work independently with deliverables • Serious, creative, independent & committed D. Experience: • Minimum of 2 years of work experience (Previous experience in similar foundations or reputable NGOs is an asset) E. Working Conditions: • Working days: Sunday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00 (flexibility working during weekends at times) • Field visits in/outside Cairo • Location: Alhassan Foundation head office – #Zamalek F.
