Communication can roughly be described as a process of conveying - TopicsExpress

Communication can roughly be described as a process of conveying information in a clear and simple (understandable) terms from the conveyor to the audience(s). For communication to be effective, the use of complex terms should be avoided if possible or if one really find them necessary then he/she should devise a means of simplifying such terms. Its a well known mentality or rather short coming of an average African (especially Nigerians) to use complex English rather than using simple compound English. In so doing he leaves his audience(s) with two tasks, one which is trying to find the meaning of the complex words and two, comprehending the message. I had of people that memorized the Oxford Dictionary. If I should ask for what? This also reminds me of a Member Federal House of Representatives in an African countries (may be Nigeria) that confuses himself and audiences whenever he deliver a speech on the floor of the chamber, sometimes the words he use can never be found in the Dictionary. Please use simple English, youll gain your audiences loyalty. Thanks ***Musa Maxernquarai
