According to a Telstra source, they have been informed that no money is to be spent on the Warner Exchange because it will be phased out when the NBN is in place. For me and anyone needing a connection we will have to wait until a node becomes available. This is not going to be easy as in an area of new family homes there is little turnover. Our entry to NBN is plotted to be five years away. Unless there is some motivation by our local MP to change the situation, I think we need to lobby for change. If you are in the area and affected by the non-availabilty of broadband, I await your comments. If there are enough interested parties, I will elicit their support to form a lobby group.
