Community Action Party Wigan Council have announced they have a splash fund of £2MILLIONS at the same time they are closing a much loved home for 24 severely disabled people. The Council alleges that The Pines needs £250,000 spending on it to bring it up to standard as justification for closing. Campaigners do not believe the figure. But lets say its true - In effect 24 severely disabled people are being kicked out of their much-loved home at the same time the Council is spending £2MILLIONS elsewhere in a "cash bonanza" ?
