Community High School was awarded the “Gold Award” from the Tony Blair Face to Faith Foundation for its exemplary work in promoting dialogue and informed action on issues of global concern. Only two schools in the nation were awarded this honor. Students in Mrs. Stewart’s English class and students in Ms. Daneels’ Community Leadership and Topics in Modern History classes have participated in the Face to Faith program this school year through on-line blogging and live videoconferences with schools across the globe.
