Compare this young chap sitting at the front of our class with baba ji in picture....both are same..... Aftab Alam my course mate, my friend, my comrade of almost three and a half decades...as a cadet and a jumior officer, he remained one of the cutest and the smartest officer both mentally and physically of our class.....an excellent cricketer, a great mathematician, a loving father of three ostentatiously swanky kids, a loyal and devoted husband of a wonderful wife, a religious minded person and above all a very selflessly chivalrous soul..... I have had fights with him, verbally we have thrashed each other, I have assaulted him, abused him, ridiculed him and he did the same to me while we were cadets and midshipmen....but he was always the first to extend the hand of friendship again and again showing me that he is heads and shoulders above me.....and I have loved him the most as well....he has a clean heart and is ever ready to help anyone in need....without him, we would have missed so much in our class....he has been like what colours are to a rainbow..... Aftab Alam......thanks for always being with me, and providing me your shoulder whenever I needed it.....
