Compassionate understanding leads to compassionate action. MY - TopicsExpress

Compassionate understanding leads to compassionate action. MY definition of compassion is much different than dictionary definition. Compassion is standing in your power so that you are able to help others see more clearly the cause of their pain and suffering. I did not think I would be suffering right now. I have seen death up close so many times from the streets to war to hospitals. I have never lost a parent. I guess I am very lucky or blessed in that regard to have a parent live so long and continue to be highly functional and remain relevant to his community. And I am in deep sadness that i cannot shake. I feel like i am wrestling with myself. I cannot win or lose. Just struggling in a hold I cannot break free. Two of my cousins died of uterine cancer in their 40s. My internalized anger at my inability to save their lives drove me to compassionate action. I have helped dozens of women reverse their cancer. My Father prepared the daily green juices for my mother while she was reversing her breast cancer less than a year ago. But my father I could not help. Yes it was his time to transition but my heart is so heavy. My friends keep telling me to have compassion for myself, to be kinder and gentler with my spirit. Time heals all wounds.
