Complete listing of all classification results from the 2014 GISA State Track Championships held in Albany, GA on August 24th, 25th and 26th. Highlights for Valwood School: Mary Alice Smoot repeated as the Champion of the 1600m, 800m and 3200m events. The winning margin over 2nd place in these races were: 0:20, 0:08 and 0:42 respectively. She earned 30 points and with those points - she repeated as the High Point Trophy winner and Valwood placed 7th out of 19 AA Girl teams. Her times for these events were 5:23.15, 2:26.57 and 11:57.40. Ryan White competed in the preliminaries on Thursday afternoon and earned the Number 1 seed in the finals for the 110 High Hurdles and the 300 Hurdles. His time in the 110m Hurdles was 17.12 and for the 300m Hurdles was 43.66. Season best times for Ryan. Due to a single vehicle car accident he was involved in later Thursday evening, Ryan was unable to compete in the State Finals held on Saturday. His presence and potential contribution on Saturday for the finals was sorely missed by the Valwood team. The Valwood 4x100m team of Garrett Lovell, Zach Edmondson, Zane Edmondson and Alex Jackson qualified as the 8th team in the preliminaries on Thursday afternoon, and then raised to the occasion in the State finals and earned 3rd place with a season best time of 45.53. The team earned 6 points with this result and placed 14th out of 16 teams in the boys team competition.
