Computer Society of India(CSI)-MJCET conducted its Inaugural Ceremony on 3rd November,2014 .The proceedings started with a welcome speech by Imran Khan followed with a brief summary of events conducted by CSI throughout the year by Shoaib Momin, Chief Coordinators of CSI-MJCET. The event was presided over by Dr.A.A Moiz Qyser ,Head of CSE Department , who gave an insight about the role and goals of CSI. The student branch was inaugurated by the chief guest Raju.L.Kanchibhotla,Vice-President CSI region V .He threw light on the growing IT sector and made the students aware of the current status of computer technology in the world. The interesting and motivational speech was followed by words of wisdom by Dr.Basheer Ahmed, Advisor cum Director MJCET and Mr.Ferhathullah Hussaini, Dean Administration and appealed the students to take active participation in the CSI activities to enhance and upgrade their skills. Vote of thanks was given by the faculty mentor of CSI-MJCET, Mr. Zainuddin Naveed , to all the speakers to grace the event and all the dedicated students for their contribution in making the inaugural event success. Speakers of the events held by CSI-MJCET were felicitated and prizes were given to winners of the event Technical Paper Presentation.
