Computer stolen from courthouse At approximately 4 p.m., July 10, a laptop computer and jump drive were stolen from the court reporters office at the Summit County Courthouse, 219 South High Street in Akron. The laptop and jump drive contained sensitive case information, including information pertaining to ongoing cases. The theft was caught on video. Anyone with information regarding the theft or the identity of the subject, is asked to call the Summit County Sheriffs Office at 330-643-8634. Information leading to the arrest and indictment of the subject may be eligible for a reward from Summit County Crimestoppers.
